The caller was a man with a very strong Indian accent. He asked to speak to an employee who does not have a desk phone. The caller couldn't comprehend this and kept on asking to be transferred or to leave a voice message (he didn't speak English very well and seemed to genuinely not understand me). He gave up after a few rounds and started to reel off a long list of people whose email addresses he wanted to "confirm"... He was taking a while so I hung up. Definitely phishing for contacts/voice clips.

Man with a strong indian accent and poor line quality asking to speak to a person with a Chinese name. I said there's no one by that name. He then ask to speak to any IT person. I asked for more information but he only tells me it's about Information Technology. I put him to VM.

Indian accent, knew my name and employer, told me our corporate secretary John **** (by name) told him to call me. This is publicly available info. I told him that was highly unlikely and hung up. Spam at best, phishing at worst.
