First said they were on behalf of British Gas then next call EOn (Unsolicited call) reported by


First few calls said he was calling on behalf of British Gas and then today said he was calling from EOn. We do not use EOn and I told him that he keeps calling and I keep telling him we do not speak to third parties and hung up. I expect he will call again!

Indian type call centre pretending to be calling from British Gas wanting to speak to our accounts dept. Told him we didn't even have a gas supply and he switched to being about our electric.

Sounded like an Asian call centre. He wanted to know who dealt with the electricity contact. I told him we are in contract until end of 2018. He put the phone down. We shouldn't be getting these calls as we have signed up to the telephone preference service!!

This company calls nearly every day purporting to be ringing from British Gas. We have explained that we no longer have a gas supply (we've moved!) however they do not understand basic English. I asked for a manager who could speak English and did receive an apology as he admitted he did not understand what I was telling him so I hung up. We have asked to be removed from their database but the calls keep coming...

I answered the phone clearly with my name & title. The caller, with a USA accent asked, is Andrew there. I replied there is no such person as Andrew here, this is Lord Leathley - Andrew. The caller hung up. This is at least the 4th call from this number. The number seems to be used for various purposes, and types of call.

It is some energy firm - I think. But they used threatening language ie my car would be removed from its parking place. I have had enough of these people. They made me very angry with their illegal cold calls.

Received the latest of several calls from 020 380 73548. A caller with an Asian accent, alleging he was from Eon and that our electricity contract is due for renewal. Not the case, since we deal with a broker and the contract is not due for many months. Asked him which part of 'Do not call me again' he did not understand. Since he persisted, I hung up.

Constantly calling from 8am through to 8pm, despite my having told them 4x now that I am NOT interested. They are now calling every day. Will not take NO for an answer. I would consider them to be dangerous.
