asian guy called Ivan, asked for me by full name, calling on behalf of a "CHARITY" called CRY uk helping poor children in india, i informed him i was registered with T.P.S and not to call ever again, on putting the phone down, i received another couple of calls from this same number, although these were silent calls.

they ask for you using your first name, then start questions, I suggest to all just put the phone down. Let see if BTs new service later this year 2016 will fix these callers

You need to get a BT Call Guardian phone, it blocks all unknown numbers unless you accept it. I found TPS useless

Wanted me to answer 4 questions. When I said that this was a nuisance call and was illegal the man with an Indian accent hung up.

wanted me to answer 5 questions which would only take a minute. I said I never answer personal questions over the phone and the caller said Male, who started very polite, but said something in a very rude manner when I would not answer any questions and put the phone down.

Said they were from BT, indian lady. Genuinely thought it was BT as awaiting a call back from them so stupidly answered some of the questions until I got annoyed and she hung up. It would appear they are working on behalf of providers (ie. newspapers, insurers) and will then pass your details on. Do not answer the call if you can avoid it or just hang up.

Man with Indian accent saying was from Reconnect. Wanting me to answer survey. He knew my address which is a worry. Told him I was registered with TPS and had not agreed to any surveys. Would not tell me who had given them my details and hung up when I refused to answer any questions.

This number has called a couple of times in the past few days - "'ello, 'ello" left on the answerphone, so obviously cold-calling. Have added the number to the blocked list on my 'phone. I always screen call before picking up, anyway - just a nuisance to be "summoned by bells" on my day off!

They call me all the time, I simply tell them to stop calling and hang up. I do this whenever I can hear a call centre in the background. I've registered not to receive unsolicited calls but still receive at least one a day. Have no idea how to stop this.

Asian speaking man asking if i was a mrs someone (couldn't understand him). I said no and he asked if i was the owner of the number, i said yes.. he proceeded to read my number to me saying correct to which i said why is that your business !? He tried again and i repeated my response and then told him the number was registered with tps and to remove the number from their calling list. We've had 2 to 3 calls a day for a good few months from this number and one similar. Crossing fingers it stops now but not hopeful
