I do not recall putting my details on Reed for this work, but I had been looking. The scams or troubles that exist with this work are quite a few, but all of them they cover in the brouchure as they do not do. They don't address them like I just did, obviously. I am trying to be skeptical about the opportunity, but with knowledge that companies associated with the likes of Disney are troublesome and this one states they do not allow the common problems - I am considering doing the work.

They say they found my phone number on reed, although my CV hasn't been on reed for about 6 months. Offering a job in China teaching English, not sure if a real company but their persistance and the fact they don't take notice of a polite thanks but no thanks suggests not.

I have never expressed an interest in teaching english overseas on Reed.co.uk or any other job website, and I have zero teaching experience, but they want to interview me for a job in China?! Definitely too good to be true. I didn't even bother to ask for more information as 1) I'm not interested in working overseas just yet, 2) I'm certainly not interested in teaching english, and 3) I'm sure me applying for a job would involve me having to send them lots of money up front to "secure" my application or something like that. A common scam!

I received a call from this number yesterday, a woman with a Chinese accent asked me if I was interested in teaching English in China. I agreed to receive further info by sms and email which were sent a few hours later. They are recruiters and they seem to review CVs online and call people they consider suitable for the job. I did research online and my opinion is that it's a legit agency (not scam) but still I'm not convinced about applying for them. I link their web address http://www.teachteflinchina.org/home.html

A woman offering me an English teaching job in China, saying she found my CV on Reed. Received no email. Very odd call, particularly as I had just gotten off the phone from an actual job interview.

Just to add, 3 days later I received an email with the 'brochure' and asking for a Skype call. Really not sure if it's genuine or not. Regardless, I'm not moving to China anytime soon! :)

It was a woman with a Chinese accent who rang me explaining that they found my CV on Reed employment website and she would like to offer me a job teaching English in China. After drilling her nicely it was clear to me that this is a scam because you have to pay them in order for them to "help" you relocate to their country. Apparently they "take care" of everthing before you start earning a "generous" salary. Careful! Do not believe any caller from this number.

I received a voicemail from this number with a male voice saying that he is calling from Teach TEFL in China found my CV on Reed and are interested in my profile. I called back and a lady with a slight (Chinese?) accent, who already knew my name without introducing myself, repeated the same thing - that they came across my profile and that they believe that I would be a good candidate. She didn't give any details about the job - even the title of it - and she said she would send all the info via email. She already knew my email address. It happened several hours ago and I still haven't received an email. The strangest thing about this is that I am not even a native English speaker and I have no teaching-related job experience. Why would they think that I am a good candidate??

I was called from this number and like everyone else, spoke to a woman who told me they found my CV on Reed and would like me to apply for a teaching job in China. I don't know how people can know it is a scam, as the company is legitimate (or they have a website at least). They also said they would send over some literature and I haven't received anything as of yet. Everyone else's comments make me wary, except that no one seems to have any concrete information about it, just a dodgy feeling.... so I'm unsure.

They Leave a message saying they have my CV from Reed, which could be true. The say they are from Teach esl in China, which is an actual website, but on the website there is not a phone number to see if they match. Why would an accountant want to teach English in China?
