Explained he was an international stock broker. After some preliminary 'building rapport' talk he then gave me advice on what stocks to buy and that it would make 40% profit. I asked him for his FCA number and he gave me a 5 digit number. FAC issue 6 digit numbers so i know this is false. I asked to speak to his manager but he replied he was the manager. I explained that he must have someone he reports to? It went quiet. he returned and said his name was Gary (it wasnt he had an Asian accent) and said he was the manager. It wasnt because it was the same person. I hung up!

Asked them to stop calling and delete my details as i do every time they call, as always they got agressive and after i told them i was reporting them AGAIN for breach of data protection laws they hung up.

American accented woman addressed me by my first name asked me was I interested in making money. Told them politely they had the wrong number, I said I wasn't the person she named at the beginning of the call, she asked if I was the owner of the phone. I hung up. Annoyed they knew my name! Feels really intrusive.

The speaker introduced himself as Ryan. Tried to sell an investment plan or account of some kind. I aked how my number was gotten; Ryan claimed that I left my details with a financial service website and that's how he got my contact number, and I don't remember doing such a thing. But I second-guessed myself because I did a Google search about investment a few months ago. To try and establish credibility, he claims that his company has worked with some local companies here and he shoots a few names of local financial institutions. Then, he wanted to get my email, full name and date of birth; he claimed it was for the purpose of sending the account login and password afterwards. In which case, getting an email and my first name should be enough. But he needed my last name too and the date of birth, so I falsified those. After that, he even asked to for my card details to add "funds" to the account, so I declined Ryan and hung up. I don't even know why I bothered hearing their pitch for 20 minutes at 8am on a weekday without breakfast.

They just wont stop calling me. I moved to Singapore when i was 13 and still have 2 brothers in the UK. When i saw the 020 number I assumed it was them. The telemarketer said that i had a chamce to earn alot of money blah blah blah. I told him im not interested and he started getting rude . i told him im at work and he asked "well how come u can answer ur phone" i told him i thought it was a call from my brothers and he went on to say "Dont lie and tell me ure at work if ure not" i told him not to call me anymore. Happened about 4-5 months ago and i still get calls every week.
