Samwell rang me pretending to be from carphone warehouse really s (Telemarketer) reported by Db
Samwell rang me pretending to be from carphone warehouse, he was really pushy, really stupid and his phone just kept cutting out all the time! These guys are hilarious as they phoned me four times ‘ even when I was hitting an air tank with a hammer making such a noise that I couldn’t even here myself think, and they still tried selling me IPhone twelve pro unlimited everything for £35 a month and pay my contract out with my network provider! If it’s too good to be true it usually is !!

Recruiter, but something not right.. (Scam call) reported by WelshGuy
Called saying they are a recruiter, seems legit, but the whole interaction felt off. The sent me a job description for a job, the persons email address did not match the email domain in their signature. I've been dealing alot with recruited the last month, and this just felt off. So i'm not going to take the risk and think this is some sort of elaborate identity scam.

Seeking personal information pretending to be a recruiter. (Scam call) reported by YvL
Phoned by a man who spoke very poor English and who was on a busy train, complete with train 'tooting' sounds in the background. I could hardly make out anything he said. but when I asked him to call me after his journey finished, he said he was actually phoning from his office! I ended the call. I then received an email from the same person saying they were from Radiant Systems and outlined a job and requested personal info. The job profile had been cobbled from different jobs and was full of errors. I've now removed my C.V from a well known recruitment portal as this website was referred to in his email.

Recruitment scam (Unsolicited call) reported by Contractor
I concur with the other reports here. A guy with a heavy Indian accent that is very hard to understand claims to represent a company called "Radiant Systems" left a voicemail. He also sent out a questionnaire asking for more personal details and my CV. I have dealt with this outfit before and they clearly trawl the jobs websites, claiming representation rights for public sector IT contracts that mysteriously aren't advertised elsewhere. I have now blocked this company.

Recruitment agency (working from Capita) (Call centre) reported by Simon
Recruitment agency or single recruiter working off the Capita framework... disagree with previous comments as it's standard practice to be asked for Part of you DOB and part of your NI number in order to register your application with Capita... as for caller having an Indian accent well I'm not sure what your point is, feels ever so slightly racist to me.... As for asking for other details well that's pretty standard to ask an interim too... would of course always be careful when giving personal information to caller, check them out online or get a face to face, ask other interim if they have used them... but as for posting a negative review when you clearly have no understanding how recruitment works is a tad childish!

Recruitment scam (Unsolicited call) reported by Sir C
Clearly picking up CVs from job sites. Caller with a heavy Indian accent left a voicemail and emailed the address given on my CV. Email opens with "Hi , Greetings, This is [redacted] from Radiant Systems." and requests sensitive information be sent back - no recruiter should be asking for DoB and NINO at this stage: "Please fill the Below Information: • Candidate full Name: • DOB: • Visa Status/Nationality: • NI-Number: • Security Clearance Level: • Limited company/Umbrella Company: • Contact Number: • Alternate Contact Number: • Current Location: • Availability for Interview: • Notice Period : • Availability to go for in-person interview:"

Potentially Risky (Unsolicited call) reported by Ab
The caller called me twice and then emailed me. From that I gathered this information 1. The caller certainly used IP phone because my phone first showed 0000442037699245. I didn't answer realizing that the phone is not geographically located in UK. 2. The person called again. But this time he dropped those extra 0s. There are some software applications that allow spammers to show whatever number they want to display on your phone. I picked the phone for few seconds and waited for his voice. It was an Indian accent and I immediately disconnected without saying anything. 3. He emailed me immediately with an urgent job requirement, which I was not interested anyway. He claimed to be from Radiant Systems Europe Limited, with its office in London. I checked their website and the company appears to be based in US, but having offices in India and Europe as well. They seem to provide "Recruitment Outsourcing" service. I'm not sure how much of that information is legitimate. But, I won't answer someone calling from an IP phone. 3. I checked the job offer.. This was apparently for a contract job at NHS, cardiff. I checked the NHS address given in email and indeed there is NHS Wales Informatics located at that address. Their site also showed the same job opening that nearly matched the job description in email. However, the according to the NHS website, the position as permanent and not a contract position. I guess you may answer the call cautiously, if you want to take chance. But, please do not give more information unless any interview is arranged. As a precaution, you should never include personal details such as DOB or address in your CV.

Same thing happened to me.
Received a few calls this week, days apart, first from Carphone Warehouse, and today regarding recruitment for Radiant Systems. Domain was Radiants.uk, but I think Radiants.com is also fishy.
These guys are REALLY persistent, red flag, but they'll also call from other numbers just changing the last 4 digits.

Job scam (Service) reported by HJW
Someone called asking me if I was looking for a job. As it happens, I was so I took the conversation further. He had my email address (I didn't give it to him) and he emailed me a job description while we were still connected. He had a heavy Indian accent but, having worked closely with Indian call centres, that didn't alarm me initially. However, since ending the call, I have checked the source of the email and the IP address is as follows. The email source IP address is: 123.176.38.154 The email source IP host name is: broadband.actcorp.in. The email originated in India and the company Radiants recruitment does not exist in Companies House or at the address given at the bottom of the email. Therefore, I would advise people not to discuss anything with these people. He now has my CV - I just hope I haven't jeopardised my identity in the hope of securing a new job.

Recruiting agency (Service) reported by none o' yer business
Agency called Radiant Systems. Called and emailed me repeatedly about jobs that I was not interested in. Hard to make them stop calling. Different persons on different calls, all of whom were hard to understand because they spoke with a thick indian accent and rather quietly. I suspect this company really operates from India but has a front in London in order to get people to actually take their calls.

call missed, when calling back it seems to be a staffing agency. Not very clear, since language used is very unclear. Probably not a native speaker, will be called back but no explanation why or what for.
