I am calling because we are headhunting for a new role, are you looking for a new career opportunity [I throw up a little bit of sick into my mouth at use of the phrase "career opportunity"] Me: Yes, I am looking, but not in London Caller: Who said it was in London? Me: I thought you were calling from a London number Caller: It can be wherever you want it to be, it's a role with an international finance firm, and you decide where you want it to be Me: Doing what Caller: International Business Development [ie sales] Me: that is so far from what I do that I don't think you are even looking at my CV Caller: Er. I was approached via email for a job position, watched the webinar that was sent to me and everything seemed to have massive potential including a starting base wage of at least £30k. After having a chat with a in-house recruiter it actually seemed that the position was actually cold calling. Starting wage is only 1200 euros and they pay at least 50% of your living accommodation.

Let the call ring out, no message left. Had an email from DeVer in the morning saying I'd been headhunted for an 'international' role, and that I should attend an invite only web call to discuss the position. Also had a text a few hours later asking me to call them back immediately to let them know if I'm interested. Absolutely no information about the role, just a load of rubbish about their vision etc. I recently updated my Indeed profile so I suspect that they have come through there.

Text me twice and called me unsolicited regarding a job apparently. International role that I had been headhunted for. Definitely not legitimate as my current role is nothing to do with this. Also received a few scam calls since which I believe are linked.
