Automated call from HMRC threat of legal action if one doesn't return the call to this number (2037693702), because a lawsuit had been lodged against me (no name) If the call is not made within a time limit one will incur additional legal fees and charges. An obvious scam, having contacted HMRC who knew nothing about it.

Automated call stating that a serious lawsuit had been filed against my name. The issue was supposedly time sensitive so I had to call this number immediately (2037693702) My name was not mentioned in the call so I called Police Scotland who told me that it is a Scam!!! Call action fraud on 03001232040 & help them to catch these scammed..... The more information the better!!!!

Very formal official sounding voice delivering a scary message: Warning theat HMRC were about to file a serious lawsuit against me. Had this twice today. Remember if they don't use your name but address you directly then it must be a hoax.
