very frightening - telling me about a car accident but with such a strong accent i couldnt work out if my family had been involved in a car accident. BUT they were trying to persuade me that i had had a car accident in the last 3 years. Horrible.

Car advertised on Gumtree and then get this call asking me to confirm that I had an accident in the past 2-3 years. When questioned about the car, they did manage to correctly ID my car but I didn't blank the number plate in the photos. When questioned about the where and when they repeated the same line asking me to confirm an accident that never happened.

Claims to have details about the accident I was involved in (I haven't been in an accident) in the last year. I asked him how long a year was and he said he couldn't tell me that for data protection reasons. Reported to the TPS.

Just advertised my car on gumtree and within 30 minutes I had a call from this number saying that I hadn't claimed for an accident I had in this car within the last 3 years. I don't think so! Questioned how he had my telephone number and he claimed it was from some national database but it's obvious it's from gumtree! Add to Spam numbers... CHECK
