Indian person with English name claiming to be from BT offering me a free phone to stop scam calls. Company is Future 5G from Luton offering a free phone at double the market price in exchange for access to you bank account so they can take all your money. Thieves.

My elderly mother received a call from these people telling her that they could replace her old phone free of charge as she was an 'elderly customer'. Asked her date of birth, which she gave; then aske for her postcode at which point she told them they should know it if they are replacing the phone. Gave her an incorrect postal code (her old address) so she told them that this was not her postal code. they asked for her current postal code and fortunately she did not give this and ended the call.

just got cold call to sell me a new phone from BT (not really them) insisted I set up a DD said no game number to call said they would confirm all ok

Scam call reported by Medic
Indian chap called from this number claiming to be from British Telecom. Said I should ring this number to report any unsolicited calls as I have registered with Telephone Preference Service. Rang it back and it is not BT. Seems very dodgy. Beware.
