I signed up on moneysupermarket to get some Income Protection insurance quotes, hoping to just get it done online, but of course, in the end, you get told someone will call you back to finalise. As I get qutes online specifically to avoid giving personal details over the phone, I ignore these calls. They call at least 4 times a day, and sometimes leave voicemails, but always from different numbers, so a lot of blocking is needed. I told them to stop calling in the past, but it made no difference. This is no way to do business. Don't offer online quotes if you cannot completed the process online.

Got a call from these people after getting a quote (Financial services) reported by


Bombarded with calls 3-4 times a day after getting a quote from ComparetheMeerkat. They didn’t want to take no for an answer when I refused to confirm or give them any personal information, got quite mardy and then the calls started, relentlessly. Have now blocked. My advice put this number in your phone under ‘never answer’!!

Called after I got a quote from life insurance, (Scam call) reported by


Received call after getting a quote from compare the market for life insurance. Asked me to confirm my details I.e my email address. When I refused I was advised I would receive a further call and would be emailed with information about the service. Didn’t receive the email (as I’m guessing the caller didn’t have that info) and I blocked the number.

Yep, same here used compare the market to look into insurance now am being bombarded with calls from individual companies, I did not sign up for that.

We have just had a call from this number, knew our name and address. He was a very foreign man and when we asked if we could speak to someone else, they hung up, wont be answering this number again
