I signed up to something and ever since have fielded so many calls. I have kindly asked them to stop calling, they get angry.. say I signed up and when I ask to remove my details they say they can’t! Quite annoying! How they honestly think anyone will listen is beyond me! Especially when they’re rude!

I accidentally answered and person was speaking to me whilst the phone was in my pocket and hadn't even realised I was not listening, I just heard them speaking from my pocket, which was in very poor broken English. I said hello and hadn't heard what they said. They then started to go through their patter about helping with a survey so I put the phone down. I would not bother answering, just block the number.

Today at 1.15 - Christine from ESE re solar panels. Googled and rang back on number on their website. 08000472985 and got same Christine. As on TPS they shouldn't have called. Just made a complaint on the ICO website. Do the same if you get a call from them as if enough then the company can get fined.

Claimed that my network provider gave them my number. Provided him with some lovely words of my own and then kindly asked to remove my number from their system. He couldn’t get a word in and I hung up. Fingers crossed he got the message.

They called me after i watched their ad and signed in to a site with my mail. We had a normal conversation for 20 mins probably until the caller said i had to invest 250 euros for the crypto. After that i started joking around and the caller gave the phone to a guy that startet cussing me out (really fin btw). I calmed him down and after about 50 mins if talking Mr. «Raymond Reddington» yes u read that right. Raymond said he was willing to give me 10 000 euros as proof that they were legit. After a while he said he would be sending me the money and hung up. Really nice guy when u talk to him for a bit.

Solar panel insurance scam (Telemarketer) reported by


The company behind this is called Evo Energy Solutions - NOT to be confused with Evo Energy, who are a reputable installer of solar PV systems. They have called me several times and the first time I fell for it. They send out an 'inspector' supposedly to give your system a free check. In reality it is a sales job for a very expensive insurance cover that they claim will cover any failure in your system. I have written to them to demand they remove my data from their system under the Data Protection legislation but they have failed to do so. I shall make a complaint to the Information Commissioner (ICO) shortly. Suggest anyone who gets a call from this number reports it to the ICO as a nuisance call - they will take action if enough complaints are received.

ESE Group / ESE Consultants in Liverpool Dodgy cold callers. The call my TPS registered phone twice a week. They don't introduce their company name until it is time to pay (but only if you ask). They use scare tactics to make you hand over your money. The call recordings have been passed over to the ICO. Aggressive call about renewing my Solar PV warranty - not the first time they've called. Each time I notify them that my nukmber is registered with the TPS and they are also in breach of GDPR as they claim to have information about me that they should not have and do not need as I have never been a customer and never will be.

This number has phoned me several times and previously when I answered I could hear sounds of a call centre but the call was then disconnected by them. This time a woman spoke who told me that the warranty on my solar panels had run out. As my warranty has some years left I quickly ended the conversation. Nuisance call.
