I do not agree with any privatisation, if this is National Carrier Service, I have never used them, so they have no reason to have any of my details or be contacting me. This should be a service the government offers not a company that charges the government. I really do not like my details being used by any company, and for them not to leave a message shows they are trying to catch people off guard.

These people are good. They can help you with transportation money when you start a new job. You have free access to computer and internet while doing your job search in their offices within the JCP. They also refund your travel fare when you sign up with them.

Yes they are probably calling themselves Shaw Trust Company nowadays - they have bought loads of smaller organisations "to provide a service to JCP". Dont answer unless they really actually helped you.

They are allowed to check if you found a job. That's their whole service after all. If you are working then you shouldn't be entitled to benefits either. Best not to hide from them for financial fraud

Nuisance follow up calls from national careers service. Used them 2 years go, now they want call to see if I have a job - they want to claim that outcome

I disagree with any privatisation, it's the job centre that should be giving careers advise. if they really wanted to know if you had helped then they should send a text as then they would see how much negative feedback they get. I never used them so they have no reason to be trying to contact me. And I have given no permission for my number to be given out. I suspect they are fiddling the numbers of how many clients they have had.

yeah don't give these people the time of day. if you're working they want to try and take credit for it and tell the jobentre that they are the reason that you are back in work. all from a wasted 30 minutes with one of their redundant advisors

sorry just to add- my sister works with this company in a capacity- they are well renowned for being useless and like i said above they want to claim to the job centre that they are the reason you are back in work so they can claim a cash fee from the government. ignore them

You people are completely wrong! It is not unreasonable for an organisation to ask for constructive feed back from an individual to whom they have given FREE advice. The National Careers Service is funded by the government, therefore the taxpayer to help anyone who asks. True, it is a matter of opinion as to how much of a role a careers adviser may have played in helping somebody back into work or training, but you never know for sure!! Besides, the money given by government to the NCS, will definitely help somebody else in the future. For the sake of a 60 minute, confidential disclosure what is the harm in thinking about others occasionally?
