Bought a tv on ao.com which overall was a positive experience. I received 3 calls from this number, which I didn't answer, the day after my purchase. Then I received another 2 calls the following week so I finally picked up. The woman on the other side was very nice, but before I knew it she signed me up for insurance. I almost fell for it until she said "that's all set up". Hold on a second! I didn't agree to anything!! Very sneaky.

AO ringing to confirm delivery, able to change date to earlier convenient date. Had enough of my details to see that I never buy extended warranty so didn't try to flog me any. Friendly, courteous and helpful; would have given 1 score but the chap was quite slick and so I thought again after call to check with websites like these to make sure that it was genuine!

As lots of others have said its ao following up on a order. Like others said they want to sell an extended warranty. HOWEVER they also arranged to take my old appliance away for free ( offered on website for £19.99) so was worth calling back.

I had a missed call from this London number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently (02036871006 and 02036871009), probably the same marketing call centre? I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Its ao.com. i ordered an appluance 20 minutes betore the phone call but didnt answer as wasnt sure who it was. Rang back to get who it was.

It is ao calling after an order. They pretend to confirm the order again but really it is to sell the after-care insurance and breakdown offers.

It IS ao.com trying to flog you an extended warranty under the guise of 'letting you know what will happen with your order'. Unfortunately, if you don't buy a warranty now you WILL get a phone call in a year's (depending on manufacturers warranty) trying to flog you one again under the guise of @just checking to see if you were happy with the product'.
