Well spoken man asked for me by name from 'life assure' re. my life insurance which I haven't checked in 18 months: ME: What sorry? THEM: You took it out to cover your morgage? ME: Sorry I think you have the wrong person T: You do have a morgage? M: That's private information etc etc After this the polite man turns quite irate & agressive, and I get my details deleted which ultimately turned out to be just my name and number- These people are fishing, I'm not sure wether this is a criminal scam or telemarketing but don't trust them, they were clearly lying & fabricating info when they spoke to me.

ringing about my life insurance policy that is supposedly haven't reviewed in 18months. When I told the man I did not have life insurance he said there must be some mistake and then asked if I would be interesting in purchasing some.

I regard this as VERY DANGEROUS. Most scam calls have people with very "dodgy" foreign accents, the one I received was from a very well spoken women and sounded very convincing. As I did not believe a word she was saying I told her that she was talking rubbish and not to phone again. Even when I was putting the phone down she was trying to convince me that the call was really about my insurance!

Life Review - Wanting to review my life Insurance cover, the caller claimed it had not been done within the last 12-18 mths and due to new / recent legislation I may be unaware of a review should be completed. When I asked for details of where and how they acquired my contact number I was advised they were not my policy holder but just conducting the review from numbers in their database and hung up on me when I asked for his number to do some research before calling back at a more convenient time should I wish to give them my information.

wanted to know about my energy supplier, I thought I was listed to prevent these sort of calls? Anyway I politely explained it was inconvenient as my kids were off ill and I had a school run to go - she kept on talking over me going 'we're almost done here' - I hung up on her - not happy!

I had a cold call from this number today. Somebody named Jonathan said they were a company called Consumer Experts based in Watford. I told him I would report them to the TPS and asked him to remove my number from their database.

Well this is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 20363498xx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
