claim that I've entered a competition online and won an IPhone. I was asked to confirm that I was over 18 to which I replied I'm not, the caller then said 'oh you're not, thank you goodbye' and hung up..!

Call to inform me i had won 10 free euro lottery lines (Indian / british accent). Asked me to confirm some personal details which I now regret as i generally prever to avoid. Inquired about my frequency in euro lottery then rolled into monthly subscription offer for future lottery tickets. When I told the caller i was not interested in giving over any money he said it was not necessary to do so today. However it was clear a paid subscription was the main motive. I repeated I was not interested in paying any money to anyone the caller impolitely put the phone down. Not sure if a scam or an aggressive telemarketing approach.

the call started with the announcement of having won 10 free lines on the euro lottery .. he the then went to talk about about a monthly subscription ... but was very cheeky about and I lost interest .. it seems to me you would have to pay about £9pounds .. for a monthly subscription ...
