I had dozens of calls from them. Nobody talks when you answer. I called back twice from my mobile phone and they hang up. I called back on a land line using "caller withheld" facility and they answered immediately. Pleasant lady told me she was from Rainbow Connected and that it was re car insurance quote that I had requested online. I explained that I had bought insurance now. They asked for my mobile number and reluctantly I gave it them. With my number, they knew my name straight away and assured me that they would remove my number from their system. I will re-blog here to let people know the outcome but the secret seems to be to call them on a landline and withhold your number.

As others have stated, call eminates from on line enquiry for van insurance to Go Compare.... This number and others 01932 504982 ... 01483 560546 .... 01932 504982 ...01323 819621 from "Van Compare" "1Answer" etc, have been calling within one hour of initial enquiry Obviously Go Compare sell contact detail unscrupulously despite requests and caviats not to do so

I searched for van insurance online and had to put some details in. Since this, the above number keeps repeatedly calling me. Even though I cut the call off after a 3 or 4 rings it then calls straight back again and again! surely, if you were being cut off like that it's obvious that the person can not or doesn't want the call.

This number just called my mobile! I'm in n.i. And this is a London number and I did call it back and a fella answered saying hello rainbow???!
