Scam call reported by bluey

got message on pc saying p c was at risk blah blah. Could n't get it off screen. Managed to get it off after several things tried.

yup i got the same thing, they said they are technical support and she sounds indians, i just said to her you put virus to my bloody computer!!! and it was gone after i shouted her. This are the people who keep on calling me that my pc are at risk so i asked them back why do u know and on conversations they want me to put a link or access but i didn't.....

Scam call reported by dunc

This number came up on internet page saying pc was at risk and to call for assistance. Couldn't close page so turned off pc but still there after reboot.had to close application through task manager

This happened to me could not close Microsoft Edge managed to sort it. But phoned the number to confirm it was a scam. The guy wanted to access my computer to sort it.. But I hung up as this confirmed it was a SCAM

Blue Screen hijacked my browsing with high security risk messaging stating error: oxoooooo7E(0xFFFFFFFFFc00000047,0xFFFFFF800002EB5B48). The page address bar shows: i-itrafficim.tf and advise to call the number 020-3514-0756. Still struggling to find what I need to remove through task manager. seems well hidden away this time!

Received convincing-looking screen message purportedly from Microsoft saying that serious error (back in June!) had compromised my pc and that photos, Facebook, credit card details, etc. were under threat. Rang toll-free (doubtful) number above. Answered by heavily-accented Asian who, when asked his and company's location, stated UK. When pressed to be more exact he said Sydney.....Beware.

while i was browsing internet a small window pope up saying:attention your personal photos , Facebook and other personal pass-words as well as credit card information could be at risk please call this number.I was not able to get rid of it despite clicking several time on the closing button finally i was forced to restart my PC. I contacted my internet service provider and informed them about this and still waiting an action!

If you use your click on your Task Bar And Click on whatever browser you use it will get rid of it, but you'll also get rid of the pages you were watching. Damn nuisance but better than ringing that phone number for it will cost you a bomb if you do!!

Missed call - who is it? (Unsolicited call) reported by MikeOne

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

This number called our house phone,telling my husband his laptop had a problem. He kept telling them he hasn't got one they kept on and on until my husband hung up on the Indian sounding man. Few days later ( today) I turned my laptop on and using google chrome the blue screen and same message popped up. It's the same number to fix it that called our house phone. Can't get rid of the message on google chrome but if I use explorer it doesn't pop up??? I did a system restore but said it not fix anything, I used my anti virus to do a performance fix and it got rid of all my junk files. Uninstalled Google chrome and re installed, seems to have gone. So not sure what worked but fingers crossed all ok.

Sharon That number is a Scam, it will cost you a fortune if you are silly enough to phone that number they give. The call originates from the USA so you can imagine what the cost will be if you phone. They will keep you on the line for as long as possible, Then you just wait until your phone bill arrives!!!! Best way to get rid of it online is to Click on your Task Bar And the click on your Browser and then click on End Task
