They called me every day for 3 or 4 days straight in the mornings and mid afternoon. I did not pick up the phone. I looked the number online and I went to this website to report it. Annoying and looks like they hound down people who might have given them a few quid in the past as in a monthly DD and my details are probably on file. I stopped giving money to this charity as I could not afford it any longer so I had to stop the DD. I'm assuming they are calling me again back to reel me back in and give them donations again, and them using the excuse of the Ukrainian invasion by Russia as are now all charities using.

They stated they are from Greenpeace activists asking for funds. (Nuisance call) reported by


The person was male and seemed to be British by their English accent. The calls happen only at weekend after 19:00 o'clock which is weird. Very polite, said is calling from Greenpeace and asked if I have supported and signed their petitions online. I said yes. Then he asked if I have some time available to give my personal details etc. At the time I was super busy so I had to end call. He followed that when is a convenient time to call again. He called again after two weeks...asking to give my bank details. I had to politely refuse. I think is a scam. Never give your bank details over phone to random people that called you...

told me a bit about the charity and wanted me to sign up to a d/d over the phone. I had to persist quite a few times that I did not want to give bank details over the phone, eventually they accepted that answer and ended the convo very quickly. Felt like cold calling.

Phone fundraiser for charities (Call centre) reported by


Polite and professional woman called to explain the work of Humanity and Inclusion, a small NGO doing humanitarian work, and ask me to make a regular donation by DD. Said she was working for NTT Fundraising. Before giving details I checked the number online and confirmed it was them, and after the call I rang the charity and confirmed that they are using NTT because they don't have the staff to make fundraising calls themselves.
