I called back during the early hours of the morning when I was sure no one would answer and was met with an automated message from cancer research saying that they would contact you again. There is a long pause but then they give an option 'if you would not like to receive a further call please press one'. I did this so will wait and see if it actually works.

Claim to be EE, but when asking 'security questions' and I say I don't know off the top of my head they hang up. Had it around 5 times now. Very rude people!

This is a sales call from EE, the guy i spoke to was really rude when asked to remove my details, said he was a 3rd party and couldn't do it.. promptly hung up

said it was EE, think it was a contracted out call centre, asked for my details, i politely refused and asked to be removed from their call list to which the caller agreed to comply

If you are a member of EE, phone them up and complain, I've just done that and they said they will remove me from their partner lists, I asked to be removed from all. Then I saved the number and blocked it.

Nuisance call for me, some landline from London, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. I blocked previously few similar London numbers. Did someone answer this number? Who is it?

Apparently it's ee, they phoned about "an account" wouldn't say what account just said one associated with the number they were calling (mine) no specifics, asking about interest in pay monthly deals on tablets / iPads... They were in a public area could hear traffic wind etc. wouldn't trust it personally. And after saying about the deals they jumped straight in asking about security details... Be warned
