Just got a call today 8th Feb 2016 regarding PPI, they asked for me by name and also told me that I had financial dealing with a number of companies, hence the phone call. As I work for a bank and told them so, he agreed to remove my name. I doubt that he will and no doubt they are phishing for information as any information on financial transactions, would only come from the financial institution itself or from the company seeking limited credit information. A little scary as they had my phone number as well. When I asked them how they got hold of this information I was met with an abrupt, "this comes under the data protection act" and they could not disclose how.... LAUGH !!!!! - caller: PPI company

apparently they rang me numerous times last year...they dont give up...i answered twice yesterday and they hung up, today i got some fool with an essex accent and told him/her that their system should show NO CALLS...its PPI (in my case) being reason for call...but rather than go thru the usual reteric she/he (i couldnt tell which) put the phone down...DONT BOTHER TO ANSWER

They called and my phone said they was calling from london. When I answered I heard a female say 'but none of them are working' I just kept quiet. Then she said 'are you there' so I replied with 'hello'. Next thing I heard a scuffle and they ended the call

They've been phoning me for weeks, but as i've had a bad day, i thought it would be fun to answer them. Some company called Invive (invive.co.uk) wanting to talking to me after i apparently 'spoke to their colleague some time ago' about 'ppi claim'. I told her i didn't and that I thought this was just a spam call trying to get business. She said something but i hung up.
