I've been getting silent or abandoned calls from this number for several weeks, please can you all report it on the ofcom website. You need to call 1471 and confirm the callers number, time and date. If Ofcom get enough complaints then they do issue fines to these sort of people.

I have asked for them to remove my name from what ever list they are using (several times) and will prosecute any one else calling me from this number / company. they are in breach of the data protection act.. and thus we can prosecute.

A young woman (sounded like a student) phoning from what sounded like a noisy branch of Wetherspoons and reading from a script, asking about who I would vote for- I hate survey phone calls but she was ok and I was in a good mood. Don't want to hear from the pub research team again though!

Seems to be some call centre working for non-profi organisations, already reported in connection with UNICEF/Red Cross/Cancer research, but hard to say who they really are, you decide... Just be aware. Does someone have some more exact info?

They ask for you by your First name when they have no idea who you are -trying to be friendly!! Rubbish calls - ignore they need to learn some social graces

Nothing to do with any political party. It's a roundabout way of asking if you are in need of any financial help. Loans, insurance, remortgage,pensions etc. I had a bloke ask me if I wanted a new washing machine with a cheap insurance policy added. Still ring several times a week. I don't answer.
