I made a £3 donation to a TV appeal by Children with Cancer Charity. Since then I have been pestered by unsolicited calls. The lady is pleasant but I feel she is from a professional fund raising company not the charity itself. These fund raisers take a big slice of all donations, which is why you get pursued relentlessly. Never had this before so will not use my phone to text money again.

I recently sent £3 via a TV commercial. I don’t blame them for trying to sign me up it’s pretty bad for all charities at the mo. I’m trying to spread it around a bit during Covid so won’t be signing up.

Pleasant lady rang. Yes - it was a cold call but she was polite. I asked if they could simply email me for donation requests as my only contact preference and asked for my phone not to be further used - all fine. I may well send another donation because they are trying hard to get funds.

Was phoned by a company regarding a children's cancer charity I had donated to. Feel like he was trying to get me to say yes in certain places and recording my answers. It as left me feeling very angry and made me feel like not making any further donations

I didn't let her talk much. She said she was ringing to thank me for my £3 donation, I said I don't think she did. I forcefully told her not to ring again, I was so angry. They've rung twice in less than a week. I won't text a donation to a charity ever again. Their loss.
