Very threatening SCAM call (Robocall) reported by Nick
A threatening automated message informed me that I'm a witness in a criminal investigation of me. Very unlikely! HRMC will contact you using your name and by post if they have an address. The call states your home is under surveillance - so they know your address. Surveillance costs a fortune - so unless your a master criminal or **** you are unlikely to be under surveillance! The aggressive nature of this call would be very threatening to a vulnerable person. The message demands you should call back. I've blocked it.

Just had a threatening automated call from this number, apparently I'm under investigation by HMRC for fraud, and my house is being watched. Nope not true.... I'm a Civil Servant and this is a scam. I haven't returned the call, just blocked the number.

This number left a voicemail whilst I was in a lecture, and said that my house was being watched by authorities (I don't own a house, I live with my parents). They also said that if I don't call them back then legal prosecution would follow. Could only assume it's a fraud call about tax.

Rang claiming they were from the tax office and I owed £750 (Scam call) reported by Ian
Claimed I owed tax money, only to list, as the dates where I supposedly didn't pay the correct tax amount, periods where I was in full time Pay employment! Told me I needed to pay the £750 now or I'd be taken to court. Was very aggressive. When I said I thought he was faking it he hung up, after saying 'prepare to be arrested'!! Hilarious really, but may have worked on other people so beware.
