Indian lady saying she was from Microsoft. Telling me my laptop had been hacked and was sending spam emails all over the world. They were going to revoke my windows licence or they could fix the problem. I told them to revoke it and hung up

I 1471 all calls. This number rings regularly. They have dried to con me about my computer about to crash or software licence is expired. Odd since licence covers all my IT equipment, and my computer is probably running 10 times faster than their scam one anyway. I just listened to all his bu* whilst I was working and in the 25 mins he was on the phone, made over £900 share-dealing. Bet he couldn't.

This number has been phoning me about 5 times a day, everyday for the last week. They asked for my daughter by her maiden name. She has been married 5 years and not lived at home for 7. I told them there was no one of the name at my home. So, they asked me for my name, which I would not give. I asked who he was and he said his name was James ( he sounded Nigerian) and he worked for a digital co. And they needed to shut down all my laptops and computers. When I said I didn,t have any, he called me a liar. I ended the call.

Male with Indian accent threatened to shut down my computer unless I gave him remote access. That's not quite how he put it. I strung him along for half an hour just for fun without giving him access. I dropped ever-heavier hints that I knew he was a scammer yet to my astonishment I was the one who had to hang up. His persistence amused me.

Had a similar call from an Indian accent, he said he was from BT and unless I gave him access to my Laptop he would disconnect me from the internet, we argued for several minutes, he hung up when I said my wife was calling BT to check on him, I wonder why!

male with Indian accent told me my Microsoft licence was withdrawn as my computer was issuing errors that was corrupting the internet. I asked how he obtained a national security number and if my computer was issuing errors He should find a nuclear proof bunker and hide as WW3 was on its way. He rang off ! I get calls from this number daily and only responded as I was near only phone in house without caller ID.

I like to keep them talking though - string them along - waste their time - ask them about themselves, their business etc..... if you have the time - then I tell them to "go away" and get a proper job helping people in need instead of connning people

Called said they were from a digital company and my computer would be shut down because it had been hacked from China. Very unprofessional caller who said the police do not have the technology to help! Pretty sure he swore at one stage but did not repeat it when I asked him what he had just said. Clearly a scam.

Called today claiming to be from Microsoft, said someone had hacked into my computer from China, I was told my computer would be closed down as an illegal operation was in use. I kept the Indian guy with a very British name (James) talking for 25 minutes before telling him I didn't have a computer and I was a police officer. He couldn't of hung up quicker if he tried. It's a well known scam. They claim to fix your computer for free then try to sell you some sort of software to protect your computer...This scam has been running for a couple of years to my knowledge please don't fall for it.

This number called me and told me my software license was being cancelled because of hackers using it for illegal activity! I told him that was probably his operation. I worked in IT and he was lying. I asked for him to send me a letter and the call was dropped.

I answered the phone call today from this number they knew my name they said they were calling about a computer and Microsoft something orother about licence being about to end and needs renewed hung up on them in the end.

I had the same thing, I was called by them on a seperate number but when I started pushing back they said I was being hacked and my computer would go down from 3pm, it never did

This number has been phoning daily for few weeks, today I answered, said in extremely hard to understand accent that it was Microsoft and then talked about my computer license number being hacked, if I asked him to repeat something he irritated and said I told you! Really didn't understand what he was talking about.strangly he was very clear telling me I needed to put my computer on and he'd tell me what to do. He had given me an extremely long number code at start of the call.i eventually put phone down on him Whatever you do, don't give any information or let him access anything in your computer mine was off and stayed off!

I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
