Fake Accident Scam (Scam call) reported by Ken
Asian girl "Lisa" said she was from the Accident Investigation Department of the DVLA - calling about an accident I had. Number came up as 'out of area'. I asked for the number and when I said this was a scam number, she hung up. It seems to be one of those numbers you can buy to look like you are based in London. I have not had an accident. Some kind of scam.

Unsolicited call reported by Dave
These jokers, with Asian accents, called me with a message for me as 'I'd had an accident'. I played the cautious card and asked where they'd found my details; they were unable to tell me and couldn't give me my name either. However, I told them I had had an accident so let them waste their time by getting transferred to a 'supervisor' who took all the details. After giving fake details, I was asked for the reg number of the other vehicle so told them I'd go and find it. I then left the phone off the hook and hopefully wasted a whole lot more of their time than they wasted of mine...

Accident Investigation Bureau (Unsolicited call) reported by Phil
Had a call from this number on my home phone from the Accident Investigation Bureau wanting to speak to whoever it was that had had an accident. I did a Google search while on the phone and it resulted in no web address or anything, when pushed where my number came from the guy said the Road Safety Authority because there was an accident. I asked what sort of accident it was, they kept asking just to speak to the person who had the accident, and I was asking what sort of accident but they didn't have any details. I ended up having annoying them by asking if it was a broken toe or a smashed light bulb and then they hung up.
