Lucelle calling from 1st Call Group "on behalf of Leeds 2 Trade" this is a legitimate call centre based in South Africa is far as I can tell. That 020 area code means nothing. Had a call from the exact same, bar the last digit, number yesterday wanting to talk about credit cards. Yesterday they were calling from Morgan/Marshall & McKenzie "based in Manchester", it was Darren. Today it was boilers. Lucelle said she was based in Leeds. She struggled to pitch her spiel because I was too busy kindly asking how to spell her name and the business name. She didn't want to provide an address and I could hear her asking her manager; " he wants an address.. what do l do?" - he was saying to just get on with her pitch. I stopped her again to ask and after a long pause of silence and me calling her name, she hung up. Now, Leeds 2 Trade is very much a working telemarketing company and thanks to another "who called me?" type thread elsewhere I managed to track down their whereabouts; Stockport. Leeds 2 Trade ltd The Key Group Building 15/16 The Embankment Business Park SK4 3GN STOCKPORT 0161 466 0113 I called 0161 443 0000 which is the switchboard for the Key Group building but the Office Manager at Leeds 2 Trade kindly gave me their direct number. Her name is Stacey Moore, she was happy to take my pseudonym name (for my fear or further scandal) and empathised with my disgruntlement. Gave her all the info, she's talking to her managing director who will contact 1st Call Group and get me removed from the system.
