Male with a strong Indian accent claiming to be calling on behalf of the Nationwide. I asked him if it was the Nationwide Building Society, he didn't seem to understand the question. He asked if I was happy with my credit card, I told him I was happy with everything in life except this unsolicited call to a TPS registered number.

scamming Indian something about internet was going to be cut off and bla bla bla .asked him to try and verify who he was .got really angry and threatening on the phone and told me to f off and hung up won,t do any calls from land line regarding any services that i pay for. Wife has been caught before cost £300,00 plus to get another reputable company to carry out a scan on the computer to make sure no key loggers had been put onto the machine. Be weary when getting calls from banks ;Mr Windows and Bt.

Just had a call from this number 02031 988079, an Asian lady claiming to be from the call prevention service to stop nuisance callers, then she put me through to her supervisor to verify my details and proceed. I asked if it was a free service or how much would I have to pay and he said it would be £29 to block international calls!!! Then offered it for £20!!! It has to be a SCAM so I put the phone down.

HANG UP ON THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY. An Indian lady 'claiming' to be calling on behalf of Microsoft Security called from this number. Luckily I was already aware of this SCAM and hung up immediately. They will tell you that they are working on behalf of Microsoft and have detected bugs/faults/issues with your computer and they will tell you that thay need remote access to your computer in order to fix these 'problems'. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET ANY COLD CALLER INTO YOUR COMPUTER. This SCAM has been going on for years! I very much doubt this is a London number its coming from India.
