I had a call saying the were from HMRC and that I owed tax.when I questioned them they hung up on me. I rang back twice and they hung up on me . The third time they told me to F--K OFF.

had this call today the phone number was withheld, it was a recorded message telling me to ring 020 3129 6765.They claimed to be HMRC and if i didnt return the call they would start legal action! Obviously this is a scam and it wouldnt surprise me if the cost of a return phone call will cost more than a normal call. will be reporting this number to the fraud phone call people when i find their number Caller: DO NOT RETURN THE CALL YOU WILL GET SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR MONEY HMRC WILL CONTACT YOU BY LETTER NOT A PHONE CALL

Message left on answer machine purporting to be from HMRC regarding legal action and wanting my solicitor to ring them or they will be taking legal action against me. Same call as yesterday. I do not owe any money to HMRC so have deleted message from machine. Getting fed up with these calls.

Call from HMRC (apparently) requesting call back urgently to avoid legal action being taken. Was recorded message, did not use any personal information just said it was time sensitive and not to disregard. HMRC do not call they send requests in the post so have ignored this call.

These people have just tried to take £3500 from my eldery mother stating that she owes tax! Please beware!!!

fraudulent call pretending to be from HMRC specifying immediate legal action if not returned. HMRC do not ring they send documents and they do not end the call with "take care"!!!
