Had the recorded meesage that I was being threatend with legal action by HMRC and I should return the call. Clearly a scam which might scare the pants of some people. Whatever you do dont fall for it

Received call with automated message saying HMRC were filing a lawsuit against me. Noted the number and called back to confirm it was an actual number, but put phone down as soon as it was answered. This is a scam, Do Not Call back or disclose any personal information!

MESSAGE WAS LEFT SAYING TO CALL HMRC ON THE ABOVE NUMBER URGENTLY. CALLED BACK TOLD ME I OWED THEM INCOME TAX FROM 2009 TO 2016, I AM ONLY JUST 20 AND HAVE ONLY BEEN WORKING SINCE 2016. BESIDES I WOULD HAVE BEEN 12 IN 2006. THIS HAS REALLY UPSET ME.
