Received internat. sounding call – guessed from India. Woman (Marin) told me she called from BT support & they were going to disconnect my internet tomorrow. Said she was calling from 0203 129 4719, & that that was at 81 Newgate St, London. (I recog. that address from old BT bills). Said every time I went online over past weekend, I was sending them an ‘error’ message so they had to disconn ect. I don’t have my internet with BT! I challenged that the call did not sound like it came from London, so she put on her supervisor (man). As soon as I told him I wd report this as fraud, he gave up trying to convince me & hung up! No. was in fact 008459 996057. Reported to Fraud Action too…

Call from Indian lady called Jenny Williams!!! Stating from talk talk and that she would be discounting my internet due to viruses on my line causing major issues with the main connection. She had my account number and insisted that I log onto my computer and she would get it sorted. Even when I question her about it being a scam she was still complete insistant that it was all above board. I hung up on her in the end - funny enough no issues on my line!!

Call from stroppy lady sounded like she was calling from India. Insisted I log on computer and they would talk me through how to stop viruses. Suspect scam so obviously I didn't log in. Told me if I didnt do as they say they would cut my internet off.
