just had a call from this number, trying to sell me commodities. The guy was totally unaware of what TPS was and when I said he might want to chat to his boss about it he said why would he bother, he'd rather ring another potential client instead. he admitted it was an unsolicited call when I said are you just sat there cold-calling people (for some reason he didn't see it as cold calling but was happy for it to be unsolicited). After he hung up I dialled back and reached a switchboard who confirmed that the firm was AvaTrade.

I received a call and it sounded like someone had a recording in place. There was a sound of Hello twice and sounds like an old posh lady. Then hangs up after saying AHhhhhhhhhh silently as if she was amazed or surprised.

Called and asked for me by my first name, offering to train me to become a financial trader. They called on Friday, I asked them to remove my details from their database and reported to TPS. They called back on Monday. Number now blocked. No idea where they found my details.

Indian telemarketer selling financial services. He couldn't clearly explain what kind of service, and wanted to send me an information pack. After I put the phone down, they called again, so I have blocked the number.
