Apparently my business had agreed to a local school advertising campaign for child safety, asked the name of the school which he was unable to provide. Told him to send all paperwork relevant to our mystery agreement to my business address, said he’ll pass it on to his colleagues in collections. ????

Some cretin called to ask if I wished to continue with my subscription for an education supplement going into schools. I asked where he was calling from and he told me Be Safe Promotions and I said I had never heard of them. With that he said he had a signed contract from last August. I disagreed with him and asked him to send me proof. With that, he said he would and also send an invoice, then promptly hung up!

The two callers said I had verbally agreed to some publication for local school and the oder was ready and i need to pay some money. There was no agreement and this is an attempt to get money form me. A very stressful phone calls

Called my business and asked go me by name saying I agreed 6months ago to sponsor a child safety booklet and it was now time to pay as it was going to print, asked how i wanted to pay the £199.00 to which i replied im not because i never agreed to any such thing, to which he repeated many times that he had a verbal agreement from me and i had to pay, i asked aha the company name was that he worked for as this is dodgy to which he mumbled something so I asked him to repeat and then surprise surprise we got cut off. The same number has rung me twice since so basically they don't give up! I have now blocked the number. How are they getting away with this and why is the number not shut down??

They asked for me by my first name and I said may I ask who is calling. He said he’s calling from TS or some two letters so I asked him to repeat it and he hung up. 30 mins later and I have a missed call from the same number and no voicemail

Rang to say there was an outstanding invoice to pay for a pamphlet. I remember falling for this scam before and eventually they went away when I told them I knew it was a scam. Hopefully they won't bother me again!

We've had several calls like this. Usually the number is masked but this time it was: 02031293032. They ask for money for a child protection pamphlet claiming we signed up for it, which I know for certain we did not. I assume they are looking for kind hearted people with company credit cards who will believe the con and just pay. This time they hung up when asked to supply evidence of any kind - including a copy of the pamphlet.

This number phoned my business today. I never give my name - he asked to speak to me by name. I insisted he state what his business was. He got angry and asked Are you <name> Yes or No. He hung up when I ignored his aggressive request. Suspect this may be a "books for schools" scam as there have been a few of these to the business recently. Now blocked on the business phone system.

Child safety campaign - Never spoke to them previously. Guy called for the 4th time claiming to be calling from Child Safety Campaign. Has called from withheld number before and been very rude when I said no to him. Whoever they are they are not someone that we would deal with.
