Wanted to talk about my Car finance arrangement; which I don't have. I didn't give my first name but he knew it. he the asked if I could give him details of anyone I knew that he could talk to, I replied certainly not. He rang off.

Asking about any damage in my council property (Scam call) reported by


Phoned and asked for me by full name. Asked if I have any damage to my property. I said I was homeless. He said he sorts issue with council houses and tried to confirm if I have a council house. Became irate and read out my full (past and non council) address in a threatening way? Before hanging up

A lady with South Asian accent said her name us Stacey called on behalf of council housing repair. Hangup when I asked for the purpose of the call.

The Asian female caller said she was working for the government to push our council into giving us a repair date for our damp and mould problem. Unfortunately I answered some questions before I became suspicious; I do have have damp and mould problems but I'm sure the cold caller was not aware until I enlightened her. This is a very clever way of bogus workers gaining access to your property; I did not give an address, but as the call came through on my husband's phone, they now have my area code. will now contact the TPS to add their number to a block list.

Called twice answered no one on other end callledback via another line “call is very important please stay on line” voice sounded like Mickey Mouse then lousy music being played no one picked up phone
