PPI Claim Payment (Scam call) (Scam call) reported by Hazel
Told me I had received ppi back & would be getting a cheque delivered to my door at 12.30pm. That I had to ring a tel no (02030519952) to speak to their delivery officer. The lady gave me a ref no & amount I would be getting but they did also know some of my details but I refused to answer any of their questions. Then when I didn't ring the tel number the same lady called me back & said I needed to do it now so they could get the cheque to me. Total scam don't listen to them.

PPI claim payment (Scam call) reported by John
Phoned to explain that my PPI claim had been accepted and payment was to be delivered to my home by 2pm. All reference numbers were given to me and assured me that the driver would be carrying ID. I phoned the bank to check that it was legitimate and they had no record of any such claim. Driver will be sent away with no conversation on his arrival. Told me i had received ppi back and would be getting a cheque delivered today via fed ex. They asked that in return for the cheque i had to buy and I tunes voucher and call them back with the code... I haven't received a cheque nor have a bought them an I tunes voucher.

Called my 82 year old dad and told him they had £5000 ppi for him and would deliver before 2 by cheque with Fedex. My dad only told me this after he had bought the Itunes vouchers and unfortunately was too late by the time I had checked it out. They took £450 from him and even tried to get more by saying they needed more for tax purposes and he wouldn't get his cheque unless he paid it. By this time he knew it was a scam but they redeemed the vouchers too quick for me to go and redeem them. I phoned them 3 times to check them out. Wouldn't give me a company name. Said they were all different helplines. Got the same guy three times and he lied blatantly to me. My dad lost the money and even called the police but they couldn't help as the phone number was not registered to an address. I called them yesterday and told them they should be ashamed of themselves conning an 82 year old man with heart problems out of money. He kept asking my name and then finally hung up on me as I was getting really angry. The stress they put my dad through could have killed them. I am still so angry.
