Asian Lady called, spoke good english but very fast and quiet, asked her to repeat herself at least twice, which she did but still couldn't understand what she was saying so she put me through to someone else who also spoke too damn quickly, when i eventually got it out of her what she did, i said i wasn't interested and asked them to remove my details from their calling list. Have blocked the number, but then i blocked a similar number last week, so i'll expect another call. I never used to answer numbers unless they were logged in my phone, but i now have a poorly Mum so have to answer these annoying calls in case its anything to do with her.

Stated from my Life Insurance provider. When questioned got defence. Finally stated "I haven't called you to get 20 questions". To which i told him to go on his way (But maybe not in those words).

Wanted to speak to John. I am a female whose name is NOT John. I have always had my current number. Upon relaying this to her, she said "Ok, thanks, goodbye" and hung up. When I asked who she was, she said she was from the "survey team". Pfffff SCAM

Offer of remote installation of antivirus. (Scam call) reported by


Supposedly from BT, Indian guy offering to remotely install antivirus on my sister's laptop. Got very irrate when I called him a scammer. Same guy called back after a few minutes hoping to get my sister who already had spent 30 minutes talking to him. When I wouldn't put my sister on the phone he threatened to disconnect the internet, so I told him go ahead and he then ended the call.
