"Sky" scam (Scam call) reported by William
An eastern accented lady said can I speak to the sky account holder. We have not been with sky for more years than I can remember (and won't be ever again)so this would have just been a phishing excercise. I answered very abruptly that it took her long enough to answer the call as they had called me and told her to b***** off. I really am sick of these crooks and there is no easy free way to stop them. The telephone etc companies are not interested it doing anything about it.

It's saying something on sky has expired just put the phone down. You will get a letter or email if sky charges have changed.

Harassing and intimidatory call from a very rude female who demanded that we give details of our Sky package as our "maintenance" was due to run out very shortly. She harassed my husband, who is in very poor health, and kept on saying that our maintenance was due to run out and that we needed to do something about it.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Sky TV, just another call centre...
