repeated hang up caller (Nuisance call) reported by


Have called my work place twice a day for the last two weeks. I have called back twice now, first time I got a lady who said her colleague would call back if we have an account. The second time I called from my office number, no-one spoke - it was just music so I hung up. Then I got a call back from same number and when I answered they hung up. Now instead of calling the business number they have moved on to calling my direct dial - yet do not talk when the call is answered.

Phoned up and mentioned they would update your details, that’s fine. Then they tried to sell me a website, had me on the phone for over an hour, wouldn’t take no for an answer and continued to phone my up over 5 times day after!!

Male caller said they had received a request to add our business details to their 'basic' directory, just wanted to check details - why, if the information is on other directories then it will be the same on theirs, no need to check anything!!!!!!! Suspect they will then bombard you to upgrade to 'full' directory!

Starts call advising it's not a sales call and there will be no charges but after 15 minutes he's presented me with prices for getting on the first page of Google. There's only so much room on the first page of Google so after 10 sales he is technically redundant. Hung up quickly when he realised I was not going to line his pockets.
