Refused to confirm the business name, address or even the telephone number - told me I had to look it up myself - before hanging up on me. Initial caller claimed to be from 'Boiler Replacement UK'. A manager, Samantha, claimed they have no responsibility to verify telephone numbers aren't TPS registered because they come from another company called "Data Without Doubt".

This number comes from Manchester, I can see more similar numbers already reported (just last 3 digits different) so probably some call centre? Did someone answer this number?

Just had a call - cross with the caller who refused to listen to me telling him I wasn't interested /was registered with TPS and ex directory and told me not to tell him to shut up!

Caller said he was from Energy UK and asked if I had a boiler. I counted to ten (in my head) intending to advise him he's liable to prosecution (we are TPS registered). I said "I don't normally take cold calls like this . . ." and he put the phone down.
This is nuisance calling.
