They didn't get to the point of the call, Review team. I have had several "Review Teams" call me recently which makes you assume you already have a product with them. They were not happy when I refused to listen to all of their spiel and also turned gruff when I requested they remove all of my details from their database.

Claim to be HMRC. Police are aware of the scam. (Scam call) reported by


Phoned my wife claiming to be HMRC, saying that there was an arrest warrant out for non payment of tax, even quoting the warrant number. Wife got very upset. I spoke to Northamptonshire Police who confirmed that they knew of the scam and that there was no such warrant.

Ignored call and had voicemail from the number saying it was from HM Revenue (automated voicemail). The auto message went on to say if they don’t hear from you then their solicitor will be in touch.

I didn't answer the call so had an automated voicemail saying that me or my solicitor must call them back immediately or face the legal ramifications.
