Signed up for a free course via an ad on Instagram. Saw they wanted credit card details to avail of the free course so I didn't finish my registration. Within 5 mins I got an email saying it wasn't complete and to enter my card details, so I unsubscribed and deleted it. Then I got a text message with the same - I opted out. Immediately after I received a phone call.

I was about to sign up with Shaw academy and give my paypal details. It was for a free trial but thank God I saw the review on trust pilot and decided not to proceed. I had an email from them and I immediately opted out. Then I received a text message, I tried to reply STOP but my spend manager blocked it as I believed it will cost me to opt out? Then I received a call from this number at 10pm? I googled this number and blocked it. Also had a voicemail from them. Looks like I’m going to be harassed for a while!!!!!!!

I got a voicemail from this number saying they will give me $10 if i finish signing up for a school course. I viewed a website about a class, but I did not give out my phone number. Voicemail proceeded to say i need to put in my credit card info to pay for the free class. Very strange.

Shaw academy ad on facebook about free course online and after registering I was asked to give my debit card details as course was £49 after trial. I did not finish the registration and in few minutes I received an SMS from +1 385-348-4656 that said: " WARNING: (my name) your registration failed, you need to complete your registration here: weurl.co/3cjloB To optout tap weurl.co/3cjlpB or reply STOP " After that message I received a phone call from this number that I declined and blocked the number. I believe facebook (and others) should be more careful about what ads they allow

Shaw Academy - an online learning organisation. I began signing up for a free course they were running, then it asked me for a credit card, so I decided not to complete my application, but then they began calling - this is the second phone call, so I might just block them. I've emailed them to ask them to take me off their lists & delete my details.
