Received a call claiming to be hmrc, fraud. I did ring back and got a Indian/Asian man responded back. I just hung up because the call was not very clear, seem very distorted and distant. Realise it s a scam

Pretty much as the title claims. Tried to claim the were the police and that I was speak to a constable whilst claiming I was evading tax and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. They wanted me to pay

I redialled number as I was waiting for a call from a job application, man asked me if my details were correct, he knew name and address, then said I owe HMRC money, I then realised this was dodgy so I said so and hung up.
