Harringtons Advisory LTD PPI claims.Please complain to the right authority,if you have had a call from this company. I am on a mission to get this company their" just desserts". For cold calling, harassment, scams, extremely poor customer service and the list goes on. They are using local area codes, I have found 50 phone numbers for them so far, and still counting. They are also linked to many other companies. selling pension advice,accident claims, mortgage advice and so on. They change their name to caller,so harder to find, Harrington, Harrington associates ,Harringtons of Berwick, Harrington Claims company,financial service and Harringtons PPI, among others probably . This company is Harringtons, tasked with contacting people about PPP for which they want almost half the claim. They have a name and phone number only. Initially it was just silence or background noise and a hang up. Finally I spoke to a real person. I was pleasant and helpful, pointing out I was not the named person, my number was not the number they were dialling (which was not an actual telephone number)and they said I would be removed from the database. Since then there are several calls a day, including hang ups. Initially I referred them to the first call, was unsurprised they thought I was a different person - even different gender, then I resorted to hanging up on them. Finally I was unpleasant without resorting to abusive language, requiring them to remove me from the database immediately. I would have had more success keeping a match alight in a hurricane. I tracked down their website and made a formal complaint through their complaints procedure, threatening further action. The result, three more calls the following day, with yet another name, and to date no response to the complaint. The most recent time I bent over backwards to be helpful, knowing the call was being recorded, and detailed the entire history. Yet again I was promised my details would be removed. Perhaps they will but I have been forced to place a block on their number, at my own expense.

This number should be a landline from Manchester - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Did someone answer this number?

yes they are harringtons, I don't answer any number from Manchester at my works desk and leave the answer machine to pick up at home.
