This company is called Alfa Networks and does not take incoming calls. Agent told me he was ringing from Trip Advisor and that Trip Advisor was offering me a full refund a bad fully inclusive holiday ha d just come back from. When advised I had been on such a holiday he just hung up.

Holiday compensation chasers (Nuisance call) reported by


Foreign sounding woman rang asking to speak to someone who doesn't exist on my number. Told her this & she then said ok well our records indicate you have had a foreign holiday in the last 2 years. Told her she shouldn't be ringing my number as it was TPS registered & called her a s**t then hung up. They've just tried to ring my number again but my call blocker blocked the call, call blocker 1.. spammers 0! Don't bother answering!

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with pension reviews ("Pension Advice Bureau"), accident claims, payment protection (PPI). The whole range of 01618148xxx seems to be used for call centres and telemarketing. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
