So I had this very mean salesman S. K. cold calling us with a service I didn't want and through a number I never approved any cold callers to reach out to... The call was from 016181 46998 and it was allegedly regarding HMRC Initiatives for the Business Development and they "wanted" me to get a claim for research and development. Once I firmly rejected any services he was selling - 20 minutes later I've got this low review on my company's Google Maps... Coincidence? Don't think so, especially that we don't even have a website yet and we're not selling yet. Startup formed couple months before without clients - definitely worth negative review. Now, also look at this person's profile - clearly only registered to give 1-star reviews to companies that don't want his service. https://goo.gl/bHHrtk

Pleasant spoken woman asked to speak to our accounts department. Said she was with HMRC. I hung up at this point and blocked number with call blocker. HMRC never call. If they do its not that number.

Claimed to be working on behalf of HMRC, they have called before and would only speak to a Director, when told he doesn't deal with this and they would have to speak to Financial Controller they refused. We have previously asked them not to call

Claim to be working with Hmrc. HMRC do not work with partners. Claim tax relief for R&D directly from HMRC.These people will just take your money or worse.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1618146xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with insurance claims, RTA - accident chasers, PPI. People did they call you with something new, new scope?
