Wanted my bank PPI check (Scam call) reported by


Caller wanted my bank could not make out callers name as sound broken Chinese or like. Wanted me to confirm my address then asked to confirm the post code which was wrong I corrected, bells started ringing can you confirm you bank with - - - , then proceeded to ask what credit cards I use and had used more bells ringing, then asked if it was a joint account and what was the name when I asked just send form I will input all details required as I refuse to give details over phone caller hung up.

An observation! I noticed on scam calls you are never informed that these calls are being recorded for training purposes. Where as on genuine calls they do tell you. Might be a help in recognising.

Man with poor spoken English called from "Henry Goldstein". Had completely incorrect address & was babbling on about a Barclaycard & PPI. All incorrect details. They cut the call at the mere mention of GDPR.

A lady with surname Goldsteine confirming my name, address, d.o.b etc which they knew already. Apparently i was entitled to £2000 and they would send a letter to my address but as soon as she begun asking about my bank, thats where I hung up. Cant be too careful and had dodgey written all over it!
