Called claiming to be a man from microsoft. Threatened to involve the police if I lied to him. Upon explaining there was no computer at the premises was called a "stupid woman"

It was a woman who said she was from microsoft and that my pc had been sending them reports it had been hacked. The pc hasn't been on for weeks and microsoft software doesn't send these reports. This is a scam to get them access to your computer. Do not give them any personal information.

I had the same call but she said she was from Tech World UK. The telephone that showed on my caller display does not exist as Whilst keeping her hanging on I dialled the number from my mobile. Told her she was a scam * followed by some * explicit comments the I hung up

Computer scam claimed to be from Microsoft (Scam call) reported by


A man with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He said my computer was being used for illegal activities and that someone had hacked in to my computer. Asked me to switch on my computer (which I didn't do). Kept him on the line just say yes when he asked me questions for about 5 minutes at which point he gave me some verbal abuse and hung up - hopefully kept him from phoning one vulnerable person

Had Indian sounding lady saying problem with Microsoft on my computer, passed me over to Indian sounding gentleman. Telling me I had serious problem, and had to type in www.help96.com told him I knew it was scam!

Saying there was a problem with my computer. Tried to get me to alter the settings on my computer by downloading a program. Would not give her name, the location of the call. Waste of 5 minutes.
