Received a call from someone whom would only provide a bogus name. Saying he was calling from a BP call centre in Ipswich. He ended the call when I asked too many questions and called his bluff. I returned the call on the same number to be answered by 'Uk fuels Ltd' based in Crewe. Do not deal with any company that relies upon deceit to get business. Reported to 'Action Fraud'.

Used to be a sales supervisor in this industry

I used to work in a fuel card company of my own. Telemarketers call on behalf of BP, Esso, Shell as they market those products; the idea being to sell on the basis of that product. UK Fuels is a network, the same as BP's network and Shells network. If one was to call from UK Fuels then they would be contradicting themselves by offering Shell cards. Fuel card companies are in contracts with major fuel providers. Promising to deliver a certain amount of volume to their network over an annual period. Fuel is bought in bulk weekly and customers on fuel cards are put two pence above the cost price. That is how companies like UK FUELS, KEYFUELS, FUEL CARD SERVICES ect make profit.

Fuel card discount. £0.82 unleaded and £0.84 diesel. No contract as they make 2p on every litre you buy. No hidden charges or fees. Unfortunately they don't do super unleaded
