They literally won’t get off the phone. Even though we said many times that we’re not interested. They say they ‘won’t leave it there’ and will call back. Very rude, just trying to keep you on the phone for as long as possible.

Andy from Connex called and sked for business owner by name as apparently he agreed to call him back on out -1502 number - er no you didn't as its a booking line and he is never on this number!

Was called from what appears to be an Ipswich number so answered. Pleasant sounding English woman asked for Mr X (me). I refused to acknowledge myself until she explained nature of call. Company called 'Connex' or something. Said she would phone back later when Mr X is in. Not rude just ANOTHER nuisance call.

The rudest person ever when o said no thank you to a visit about saving money on BT phone she hung up and I called back to tell her she needs to improve customer service she hung up again

I would imagine if you phoned back and got the exact same person, this call may potentially be a scam anyway. Should a BT operator call you, it would be from a call centre (most likely with an 08 number) whereby calling back would put you through to their phone menu system.
