Contacted me as a customer service about am AMEX account set up to our business name in 2018 - had address and business name correct but we have never had an AMEX account in this name and never have we used my number for the AMEX account. On reflection seemed very suspicious.

A woman asked if I take AMEX in my business. I said yes, but I'm not looking for a new CC service. Woman stated was not a sales call and that her boss would glad they found me. The boss would call me back later. Woman's accent, idioms, and vocabulary was British, but I thought it was clearly a scam call. No one ever called back.

Man with fake English accent called and pretended to be in my neighborhood. Says he needs to hire me immediately and pay me with a credit card now. When I asked him why his caller ID is from the UK, he hung up on me. This is a scam. You can read more about it online. Crooks push you to agree to offer services. They want to pay with a stolen or offshore credit card. Once they get you to do something (like open an account or pay a third party as part of your services) they reverse the payment (or you find out the credit card is stolen). You are then out of whatever your business fronted. CLASSIC SCAM. AVOID THESE CRIMINALS.

Femail person with english accent called from booking call center from Brighton and wanted to know e-mail address. I asked how do you don't see it or don't know it. She answer she just don't see. I asked why do you need it. Want to send logging things. I told it's weird and i think it's a scam. Then ended the call.
